Novum Team Member Has Presented at 2014 SSC Annual Meeting in Toronto.

Pittsburgh, PA: Pina D’Angelo was invited to speak at the 2014 Annual Meeting for the Statistical Society of Canada, on May 26-28. The meeting was presented by the University of Toronto and include workshops on biostatistics, business and industrial statistics, survey methods, actuarial science, and education.

On May 28th, Ms. D’Angelo was one of three individuals presenting on the topic of “Bridging the Gap between Theory and Practice in Statistics”.  Her presentation was focused on data analysis concepts and issues in skin adhesion and irritation/sensitization studies. Various statistical procedures for this type of data analysis, including parametric and non-parametric approaches, were presented.
